Socio-Economic View of Fisheries Processing Sector Employees: Black Sea Region-Türkiye

In this study, the socio-economic status of employees who work in seafood processing plants operating Black Sea region provinces was examined order to reveal social and economic data. 37 enterprises, which have a production permit from Ministry Agriculture Forestry, are located 7 region, where 18 located. It has been studied with 532 interviewers 28 companies that actively operating, participation 24 questions each. 19 enterprises for fish products, 4 snails, 5 flour oil plants. 63.9% male. When we look at distribution employees’ age groups, rate 31-40 years highest percentage 36.64%. Regarding education levels, it is seen secondary school graduates constitute 38.91%. detected 99.62% security, all them take advantage security institution. For marital status, determined 73.50% married.
